The real problem with the bible, is that it is the word of Man, not God. The bible was written by men, as a means to passively control the people through voluntary (most of the time) servitude. Religion works because people are gullible, and the church is not required to offer up any proof of salvation, only any empty promise of ever lasting life in heaven. In return, the church requires you to give 10% of your earnings to the church (God) so God's work can be done. God's work, is to get more people to join the church, thus giving the church more money.
The church goes on to make you feel guilty for enjoying the pleasures that this life has to offer, by calling it SIN. The bible states that SIN will prevent you from entering heaven, unless you confess your sins and beg jesus for forgiveness.
Religion is the greatest scam known to mankind. And the bible is probably the greatest collection of fiction ever written.

"-the church requires you to give 10% of your earnings to the church (God) so God's work can be done. God's work, is to get more people to join the church-" LOL! Oh well, whatever makes people happy I guess.
ReplyDeleteI simply find it strange that child abuse or rape are not one of the ten commandments.
ReplyDeleteIMHO god is not the real deal, the important issue is that his fan club likes to fuck things up in any way possible, and no one can really do anything
ReplyDeleteAmen brother hahaha

'It took me 30 years to believe in god and not in religion'
Went something like that. Interesting quote I thought
As an atheist, all of this is obvious to me. what's sad is that it isn't obvious to 90% of everyone else. Following!
